WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED?
The problem that drove the development of LifeBoard was the lack of rescue equipment that could make a difference in a drowning accident on the beach. With up to 30,000 drowning accidents annually in Europe, there was a great need to rethink rescue equipment at the coasts. Often, people will go into the water to stop the accident and can put themselves in a dangerous situation. Therefore, LifeBoard was created with consideration for the ordinary person who needs to perform a rescue.

WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION?
The solution became LifeBoard – user-friendly rescue equipment specially designed to be used by civilians. With great buoyancy in the water to carry both the rescuer and the distressed, LifeBoard makes it possible for ordinary people to help a distressed person without putting themselves in danger. LifeBoard is equipped with GPS tracking to make it easy to find and prevent theft. Clear instructions ensure user-friendliness. With the 2024 model, Codan Fonden has enabled the doubling of the number of LifeBoards on the Danish coasts.

LifeBoard makes a difference by being the most optimal rescue equipment for civilian rescue operations because it allows for quick action and can be the difference between life and death. LifeBoard is developed and produced in Denmark.
